Heejung Yoon found herself struggling to blend in with American culture and it unknowingly raised issues about her own cultural identity. Heejung took the opportunity to explore her personal journey to define her cultural identity. Culture Personality is her MFA thesis project that reveals how individuals reconcile their Korean-American cultural identities and personal differences in a multi-generational and trans-racial context.

"Complex Identities: Korean | American" book was created in 2004 telling the stories of Korean-American interracial couples, Korean adoptees, and people of Korean-American mixed race living in America.
